Faes is building a new warehouse for its packaging at Kleine Hoeven business park in Reusel. Kempen Packaging, also part of Faes, is moving its production location from Hoogeloon to the business park in Reusel. As soon as this is a fact, Kempen Packaging will also operate under the name Faes. The construction of the new buildings has started.
Faes designs, produces and distributes sustainable packaging for a wide variety of applications. Part of the customer base consists of companies active in the field of nano and medical technology, such as ASML, Medtronic and Philips. Another major customer is the Ministry of Defense. In particular, Faes develops advanced packaging solutions for transporting highly valuable and sensitive components that must withstand extreme conditions. In January 2021, the company Kempen Packaging was acquired by Faes, allowing Faes to expand its production of industrial packaging.
The new buildings will be built a few steps away from the headquarters where Faes is located. Additional parking for employees will also be provided. The 3,600m² warehouse on the Hamelendijk offers space for approximately 6,500 pallet spaces. The new building and relocation of the warehouse activities will create more space for production in the current building. The warehouse will be equipped with the most modern techniques for logistical handling. Kempen Packaging will have an independent production location at the Savoor. Pallets and cardboard boxes will be produced there. The company has 20 employees. Faes in total is a team of 125 employees.
The buildings have been designed by CS2 Architects from Westerhoven and will be built by construction company Industriebouw Zuid from Duizel. Commissioning is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
