Packaging problem
Assembléon had a problem with cleaning the outside of the flight cases they use. Because of frequent use these were often completely full of stickers, which increased the chance of shipping errors during transport. Assembléon tried to remove these themselves with scrapers and glue removers. However, this was labour-intensive and, above all, involved health risks.
Packaging solution
Faes has devised a health and safety-friendly cleaning process. The coffins are cleaned mechanically, so no health risks. Before cleaning, the cases are also checked for defects, which are then immediately repaired. The flight cases are clean again and ready for use as if they were new. This extends the life of the flight cases, which ultimately results in considerable cost savings.
