Tailor-made boxes

Whether you need a cheap plastic crate or a crate of the highest quality, we create it.

Every box starts from your needs

Whether you need a cheap plastic box or would like a box of the highest quality. You tell us your needs and requirements, we will present you with the right packaging. The consultants at The Packaging People are experienced in the complexities of choosing the right packaging. Our engineers design the perfect packaging and they are assembled in our production hall by professionals. This makes Faes an ideal partner when it comes to creating successful custom-made boxes.

Plastic boxes

Plastic boxes are popular as portable packaging. They are loved for their user-friendliness, versatile properties and the possibilities for variation. This makes them suitable for an endless number of applications within different sectors and environments. Even in environments where hygiene is one of the most important requirements; in the medical world and the high-tech sector, for example. Because of its smooth surface, plastic is easy to clean.

SKB 3R plastic cases are of unequalled quality! Strong, robust, water-, air- and dustproof, suitable for air traffic. With a lifetime guarantee!

Aluminium cases

Aluminium boxes from our Defender range are strong, practical and of high quality, but at the same time attractively priced. The Defender range consists of three types of crates, each with its own set of features and benefits and available in various sizes.

With a box from the Defender KA44 series, you benefit from several advantages. The boxes are light, but also robust and durable.
Defender KA64 crates are light, but also robust and durable. As a result, the contents are always well protected. Aluminium is not affected by extreme cold or heat, is anti-magnetic and rustproof.
Defender KA74 crates are light, robust and durable. Therefore, the contents are well protected. Aluminium is not affected by extreme cold or heat, is anti-magnetic and rustproof.

19 ich racks

A 19 inch rack is a standardised frame for mounting multiple device modules (often communication devices, mixers, servers etc.). Each module has a 19 inch (483 mm) wide front panel, which secures the device to the frame. The correct size of 19-inch housing actually consists of two aspects. These are the number of height units (HU) one needs and the depth of the equipment. There are possibilities of 2 HU up to 16 HU and depth up to 30" (762 mm). These are often servers.

The Titan case is the most advanced model on the market. It battles the elements and withstands them; meets vibration requirements, is water and dustproof, and resists shocks and drops.
SKB Roto Molded Racks feature a large lid with gasket on front and back for easy access.
The rock solid SKB Roto Shock Racks are characterised by their excellent price/quality ratio. They protect your equipment against water, dust and extreme temperatures.
3RR and 3RS Shock Racks are available in removable and fixed configurations. They are lightweight, shockproof, water and dustproof, resistant to heat, chemicals and impact damage (according to MIL-STD810G).

Identifying your packaging needs

A case, crate or flight case is so much more than just packaging. More than a casing for your products, equipment or parts. What the ideal packaging is for your company and application depends on countless factors. Our packaging experts will map out your specific requirements during an intake meeting.

Concept
A standard or customised packaging?

Now it is up to us to find the most suitable packaging for you on the basis of the intake. Sometimes, existing packaging from our range will suffice, but sometimes customisation is required or desired. Our advisors will present this to our design office, where designers will translate your requirements into the best solution.

Ontwerp
The first glance at your packaging solution

Are you satisfied with our initial advice and proposal? Then our experienced packaging engineers will get to work on a concrete design for your customised packaging. We have our own in-house design office, which means that we have extensive expertise and short lines of communication. This is how we work together on your packaging solution.

Prototype
Online proofing

Once the products or parts have been measured and the design and drawing have been made, they are presented via an online tool. Via this tool, all project members can place their comments or agree directly. Online proofing is efficient and transparent, and all versions of the design are retained.

Productie
Our craftsmen get to work at our in-house workshop

After approval of the design, the designers convert the drawings into a workshop order. Craftsmen then produce the product based on the production techniques suitable for the application. If desired, our production staff can provide the case with a customised interior and printing.

The range of cases is wide, very wide. Unlike cases, cases also usually have their specific application. For example our 19 inch racks are often used for mounting several devices and our aluminium cases for transport and storage. Besides that Faes Cases also offers plastic cases or wooden cases. Through the combination of a large stock of standard cases, the possibility of customisation and the creativity of our engineers the possibilities are endless.

By asking questions, we will arrive at your perfect packaging solution together: What is your packaging used for? Some possible answers are presentation, transport, product storage. How intensively is your packaging used? Are your products sent around the world every week or do you present a few times a year? What value does your product have? This is often reflected in the value of your case. Do you have a preference for material? Some possible options are aluminium cases, plastic cases, 19-inch racks or wooden cases. Which interior best suits your needs? Some possible options are foam interiors, EPP interiors, plastic interiors or compartment dividers.
